The Integrated Electric Drive department is responsible for the series development of Integrated Electric drive systems for all Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles. The Electric drive system (eATS) consists of the subsystems e-Machine, Transmission with parking lock, Inverter Hardware and Software.
We are currently looking for four Software Engineers (m/f/d) for the Inverter of the eATS Module 1 (drive for EVA2) with the following focus areas:
SG-Networking and Car IT Security
Derating and Emergency strategy
Functional reliability and Benchmark
SW Architect and Deterministic Timing
Coordination of requirements for the functions of the e-Drive system with stakeholders and suppliers.
Responsibility of individual software functions and their requirements management.
Performance reviews of test case descriptions.
Ensure integrated functions in the overall software on Emulator and Electric machine test benches as well as in the vehicle.
Development of algorithms for controlling e-Drive
A regular on-site presence at the supplier in southern Germany is necessary.
You have a university degree in Electrical engineering, Computer science or a comparable field of study.
Experience in the development and implementation of Software functions for Electric drives.
Knowledge of Daimler Software development tool chain as well as diagnostic processes and services (Matlab TargetLink, Tessi, Polyspace, Candela, Monaco, Vector Tools).
Experience with MBC development processes and tools (EPDM, MDS, Dante, Doors) is desirable.
You have a very good understanding of the overall process and experience in coordinating and moderating interdisciplinary/cross-functional working groups.
You have a very good command of spoken and written English, including experience with English-speaking business partners.
You must be willing to travel occasionally on business.
You have very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
