Job Description:
The Lead, Material Project Manager, at Londonderry, NH for L3Harris will utilize their past experience in Supply Chain and Program or Product Management to lead a cross functional team to ensure a robust Supply Chain Strategy, and execute for programs across the Insight Programs/Products. They will institute “right sized” practices and approaches for successful execution on early engineering design efforts, to complete product life cycle with a focus risk and opportunity management to ensure top notch execution.
In this highly visible role, this individual will be collaborating across functions and be part of the Supply Chain team as a key interface into Program and Product Offices, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Operations. This individual will also be a Subject Mater Expert in Supply Chain and Programmatic Practices.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Executing strategies and actions to improve Supplier on time Delivery metrics and Customer on time Delivery metrics
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and other functions for key Products/Programs
  • Create Strategic Supply Chain Strategies and be able to execute them tactically
  • Analyze metrics and identify challenged areas and champion continues improvements
  • Develop Supply Chain Estimates utilizing Risk & Opportunity for Best Case, Most Likey, and Worst case for ETC’s and New business Captures
  • Assist Finance in Rolling up quarterly financial status against the AOP and Short Term Forecast
  • Ensure customer flow down requirements are communicated through the Supply Base
  • Lead Supplier Recovery Strategies on Single/Sole Source with
  • Transparency in Reporting Supply Chain status and communicating critical issues to internal stakeholders with solution focused actions
  • Experience in Supply Chain execution across a Product Life Cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, to internal executive leadership or line management both written and verbally
  • New Business Proposals / Capture Experience on competitive and/or sole source pursuits
  • Demonstrated Management and Leadership experience
  • Familiar with developing Statement’s of Work (SOWs)
  • Subcontractor Management through varies stages of development through production
  • Ability to break large complex issues into smaller individual approaches to achieve business objectives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Earned Value Management experience / Previous Control Account Manager experience
  • Knowledge and Experience with FAR, DFAR
  • Knowledge and Experience with Export/Import laws.
  • PMP Certification
  • Advanced degree
