Project Manager - Krebs ProductsManage contracts to ensure customer expectations are met by ensuring project progress, supply progress status to internal and external customers, maintain Gantt charts, create vendor registry list for submittals, and communicate all aspects of the projects being fabricated worldwide. Ensure project is planned and executed through ERP system effectively. Work on documents of limited scope ranging from contract review to analysis of a situation that may require corrective action. Normally receives no instructions on routine work but needs general instructions on new assignments. Coordinates customer documents requirements involved in fabrication of Krebs products including cyclone manifold systems, valves, MillMax pump products and specialty engineered items.
The Project Management Group is located in Tucson, Arizona and is closely integrated with all aspects of the product realization, from Sales origination through Shipment of final product to customer.
In this position, you will be required to:
Communicate with Sales, Engineering coordinators, document control, other project managers, Production, and most importantly customers the requirements of the equipment to be manufactured, and outlines instructions to sub-suppliers to ensure specifications are followed.
Ensure customer expectations(specifications) are understood, organized, and met in terms of design/documentation, timeline, and cost. Track progress against each of these objectives.
Interface with Purchasing, Production and Accounting to ensure products being manufactured meet schedule, quality and profitability guidelines.
Research and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
Facilitate project documents requirements with the fabricators and the customer and submittal dates are achieved.
Directs and coordinates customer inspection activities to ensure products and systems are meeting the customer needs and specifications.
Provide instructions for Project Coordinators/document control personnel for issuing customer submittals. A communication matrix may be required.
The individual may be required to travel both domestically and internationally at a frequency demanded by the project.
The individual is required to work in a team environment and will be expected to get along with others.
Ensure Project Management principles are established/documented/followed and improved upon.
Manage multiple projects.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (B. S.) in Business, Economics, Accounting, or similar technical discipline from four-year accredited college or university; and five years related experience and/or training. Engineering background preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Competent in reading, writing and spoken English.
COMPUTER SKILLSDemonstrate a proficiency to operate, at an advanced level, a variety of software programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Project, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, Email, personal information management and specialized programs relating to job function.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
