You enjoy coding in ‘C’ and love to design solutions for multitude of users. Also you thrive in analyzing and fixing real time customer issues under pressure. Mentoring juniors , sharing knowledge is ingrained in your nature. You have 6+ years of experience in doing these.
You are also customer savy and good collaborator.

Position Overview

Staff Software engineer position in this group (SSL/TLS Offload) study/design/code/test new protocols or customer requirements. Also the engineer participates in customer calls and shares plan of action or understands an issue in depth. The engineer would lead a small group of junior engineers to deliver a specific task on time. Quality consciousness and customer focus needs to be the second nature.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to design/code/test customer features
  • Trouble shooting customer issues and interface with customer.
  • Articulate customer requirement and problems for higher management consumption.
  • Mentor team members.

Basic Qualification

  • 6+ years of extensive ‘C’ coding experience is a MUST. Should have experience in designing and coding small to medium size projects.
  • Experience in working on Unix type platforms is a MUST.
  • Experience in core file analysis with gdb is a MUST.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols and Unix OS working is a MUST.
  • Knowledge of SSL/TLS is a big PLUS.
  • Communication and collaboration skill is a PLUS.
